These terms cover this website, our online booking, our emails, and our text messages. Using the site or booking a session means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.
Booking, payment, and cancellation
Appointments are booked through our scheduler. Payment is due at the end of your session. Our cancellation, no-show, arrival, and refund rules live on the Policies page, and those rules govern your appointment. In short: cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice and you are charged half the session fee. Do not show up and you are charged the full fee. We do not refund services, deposits, gift cards, or products.
Gift certificates are sold through Square. They are not refundable and not redeemable for cash. Any expiration terms are shown at purchase.
What bodywork is and is not
Massage and bodywork is not medical care. It is not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a physician, and nothing on this website is medical advice. If you have a condition that needs a doctor, see a doctor.
You are responsible for telling us about injuries, medical conditions, medications, allergies, and pregnancy on your intake form and before each session, and for telling us during a session if anything hurts or feels wrong. Withholding that information can make the work unsafe.
We reserve the right to decline or end a session, and to refuse service, for any conduct that is inappropriate, unsafe, or sexual in nature. The full session fee still applies.
Text message program terms
Who sends the messages. JF Massage & Bodywork, a solo licensed massage and bodywork practice in Charlotte, NC.
How you sign up. You opt in by checking the SMS consent box on our intake form. The box is optional and unchecked by default. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of booking or receiving any service. You may also opt in by texting START to our business number.
What you get. Check-ins after a session, reminders when you are due to rebook, appointment openings from cancellations, requests for a review, and occasional packages or seasonal offers.
How often. Message frequency varies.
What it costs. Nothing from us. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier, depending on your plan.
How to stop. Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message. You will get one confirmation, then nothing further. Reply START to sign back up.
How to get help. Reply HELP or INFO to any message, text 980.334.3659, or email info@jfbodywork.com.
Delivery. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your number. If your mobile number changes, tell us so we do not text a stranger. Keeping us current is your responsibility.
Privacy. Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. See our Privacy Policy.
Appointment confirmations and reminders come with the booking. Newsletters and offers are separate, and every one of them has an unsubscribe link.
Using this website
The text, photos, and design on this site belong to JF Bodywork LLC. You may read and share them. You may not copy them for your own commercial use without written permission.
Do not use this site to break the law, to interfere with how it runs, or to try to reach parts of it that are not public.
The site links to outside services, including our scheduler, our gift certificate store, and our social accounts. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them.
Disclaimers and limits
This website is provided as is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of errors.
To the fullest extent North Carolina law allows, JF Bodywork LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the date at the top. Continuing to use the site or book sessions after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any dispute is handled in the state or federal courts of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
