“I have played soccer from age 3 and ran track + cross country in HS & college. I managed to obtain several injuries and through those side-lines I learned a lot from my athletic trainers and massage therapists.

Within a few months, I was better, and massage made me more aware of my injury areas, which allowed me to make adjustments in my weightlifting training. Now at 30, I move better than I did when I was 18.

From that point on, I knew that I wanted to be a massage therapist so that I could help people recover faster and get back to doing what they love. I started my own business to integrate movement and massage (aka, bodywork).

For the past 8+ years, I’ve helped hundreds of clients feel better and return to the activities they like to do, like playing with grandchildren and running marathons, but it wasn’t a straightforward journey.

Out of massage school, I cut my teeth in a chiropractor’s office. Lots of neck and back-pain clients came my way. Every day I would go home wishing I could be doing more to help my clients get permanent relief, which lead me tme to become certified in Orthopedic Massage (OM). OM taught me how to do focused-massage work. I was ready to heal the world! But it didn’t quite work out that way.

“Though the focused assessments and techniques of OM improved treatment outcomes, it wasn’t the game-changer I thought it was going to be. Eventually, by marrying the preciseness of OM with relaxation techniques of massage and coaching of basic movement patterns, I was able to help more people improve their long-term health and well-being.

I am passionate about working with clients who are looking to achieve the freedom that pain free movement provides, and to get them back to doing what they love through massage, bodywork and movement!

I can give you personalized cues, but only you can control the lasting change!” -Jamie
